It's not a question of humour or funnyness that we decided to delete some of Bens Cartoons. I respect him as very good artist and I respect his critics against Israel without sharing his opinion. But we are responsible for the contents on our website. And one of our principles is: No Ant-Semitism! You can imagine that this (not only in germany) is a very sensitive point we have to consider. I'am a little bit puzzled. All these supporters of hamas were crying loud after the Muhammad-Cartoons were published, burning danish flags and doing other stupid things. But they have no problem to combine the swastika with Israel, adressing them as nazis and speaking of a holocaust. Explain it to me! What does it mean? Is freedom of speech only for muslims in the world. Why did we see nothing about bomb-attacks from Hamas? Or pictures how they throw PLO-Members from roofs or how they shot them at the beach. This is not "funny" as well. Have jewish childs no right to live in peace and what happened after hamas ended the ceisefire (not Isarel) in december? They were attacking jewish villages like Sderot and Ashkelon with quassam-missiles again. Now we see big demonstrations and heavy cartoons about this "injustice" in Gaza. All these nervous and excited people who better should use their brains to stop killing effectively. And that means to stop the missile-attacks from hamas as well. The palestinians want an own state but they don't want democratic structures, freedom of opinion and a leadership on the basis of free elections.
Maybe you are right. The israeli reaction was exaggerated - no question. But no one will believe you when you remain silent about the crimes done by hamas.

I am very sorry that Toonpool tries to justify the ''censorship.'' Yes of course, there are a lot of funny and spontan cartoons in Toon Pool. But not all cartoon can be just ''funny''. I allways assumed that the variation in Toon Pool made its place unique.

We accept or not, Ben Heine is a political cartoonist. He chooses to tell different stories, for different eyes and there are not ''funny.''

When USA president Obama elected, Ben's work was recognized as a beautiful one. This Obama work of his was not so different than his latest Gaza works. Ben is one of the early members of this community. His existence called many artists around the world and he has proven that he is a artist with meaning. He never described as ''entertainment-artist'' His latest Gaza cartoons are protesting very serious thing we face today in the world and å define his artistically expression as ''over our LIMITs in ToonPool and ''anti-Semitic'', I guess, is a purely choice and I have to say that we are shocked and surprised.400 children died in a few days in Gaza, let us think about them first, before we choose to focus on ''consequences''...

P.S.: It is not war that in GAZA. It can not be war with tanks, bombs, chemical weapons, rockets, opposed to stones and sticks. It is crime to attack to women, children, schools, hospitals, ambulances, doctors, and temples in war. It is a different thing, not war.

I am not anti-semitic,racist and fascist, my family was persecuted during fascism.
My uncle was interned in the concentration-camp at Dachau, anather my family has been tortured for helping Jews.

You can be right in your opinion but your method was completely wrong. Abuse is not pleasant. It was be agreement with a more suitable style. Anyway I hope this unpleasantness finish for everybody.
