Ilya Katz was born in Bishkek, Kirgyzstan, in 1972. He was Graduated from the Design Dept., Kirgyz College of Arts. From 1992 the artist lives in Haifa, Israel. Currently he works is a free-lance artist, cartoonist and designer. His illustrations and cartoons have published in many newspapers and magazines. Ilya Katz has participated in many international cartoon and art exhibitions and has won more than 100 awards in Holland, Italy, Germany, USA, Portugal, Macedonia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovakia, Cyprus, Mexico, Columbia, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Spain, Argentina, Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Israel, China, South Korea, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Belarus, Serbia.
