Giannis Negropontis 1930-1991
Great Greek poet and prose writer.
Many of his poems are relevant and many of them have been set to music. During the dictatorship imposed by the Americans, he was imprisoned and exiled.
One of his set-to-music poems is "the third world," which speaks about all those who supposedly want peace.
