In Grönland war US-Präsident Donald Trumps Vize J. D. Vance nun wirklich nicht erwünscht. Mit seinen Begleitern besuchte er deshalb auch nur die Militärbasis Pituffik im Norden der Arktisinsel.

Dort übte er heftige Kritik an der dänischen Regierung: "Unsere Botschaft an Dänemark ist sehr simpel: Sie haben den Grönländern keinen guten Dienst erwiesen", polterte Vance.

Auch US-Präsident Donald Trump hat unterdessen klargemacht, dass er seine Idee einer Einverleibung Grönlands ernst meint. "Wir brauchen Grönland", sagte Trump in Washington, D. C.

Aber Grönland braucht nicht die USA

US President Donald Trump's vice president, J.D. Vance, was not really wanted in Greenland. He and his entourage only visited the Pituffik military base in the north of the Arctic island.

There he strongly criticized the Danish government: "Our message to Denmark is very simple: you have not served the Greenlanders well," Vance ranted.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has also made it clear that he is serious about his idea of incorporating Greenland. "We need Greenland," Trump said in Washington, D.C.

But Greenland does not need the USA.
