I see war in the world as caused by religion and nationalism: Arabs and Israellis, fighting since 1948, the terrorist attack of 911, the American occupation of Iraq and the continuing conflict of Sunni and Shia. Hitler and the Second World War killed 50 million people. We have seen 800, 000 die in Rwanda, and 8,300 alone in Bosnia, in Srevenica. It was the worst genocide in Europe since the 2nd World War. They were all fuelled by ethnic hatred.
No one chooses their nationality, they are born into it. What we can choose is how we live our lives and how we treat our fellow human beings.
