Imagine how difficult could be to prevent thes kind of abuse if the Catholic Church has total control of its destiny. I'm a catholic man, but the punishment for the sexual abuse crime inside the church its not negotiable.

Damnation is a category of Christianity/church.
You do something condemnable then you confess it to an authorized priest, he absolves you from your sin(s) and then the issue is settled. Settled for the committer! Not for the victim!
Better then to condemn abuse would be to do everything possible to prevent it!
