You wanna believe the new gov't can cobble together a stimulus plan that will make everyone happy, but it looks like the honeymoon may be ending prematurely. Besides, all the special interest pork they stuffed in the plan that has little short (or long) term effect on stimulating the economy is frankly a bit surprising. Of course the GOP wants a say and will get pissy when they're not involved, but do we really need folks like Nancy Pelosi taking partisan shots that only undercut any remaining belief in bipartisan gov't?
